DESCRIPTION

This course focuses on the process of acquisition financing. How does the process of arranging a financing for the acquisition of a company proceed? A distinction is made here between acquisition financing by a company and acquisition financing by a venture capital company. In addition to the process, the possibilities and impossibilities of externally financing an acquisition are discussed in more detail. Partly based on real life cases, the ins and outs of such an intensive process are described.

TARGET

Knowledge of the acquisition financing process and how the organization can prepare for it. But also, what can an organization expect after a takeover by a private equity firm, both financially and organizationally. In addition, determine at an early stage what the financeability of a possible acquisition is with a good mix of the various capital instruments.

CONTENT

The process of acquisition financing, the various forms of acquisition financing, the market for acquisition financing (in view of the different types of capital instruments), impact on organization and in particular the financial organization. Because it also applies here: good preparation is half the battle! On the basis of practical examples, we not only look at the financial impact, but also at the (strategic) impact of an acquisition on an organization in the future, including the possibilities and impossibilities for further rolling out the company's strategy.
