About the event

DESCRIPTION

The effect of Basel IV on European banks

The new Basel IV directive will come into effect on January 1, 2023. This has direct consequences for the capital requirements of European banks and thus for the conditions that corporates can agree with their banks. The Basel conventions concern (banking) supervision agreements, which supervise a series of recommendations for banks and financial institutions. The Basel conventions aim to improve the quality of banks, with the emphasis on sufficient capital and the monitoring of the quality of that specific capital. This session discusses the (European) changes from Basel III to Basel IV and what impact this is expected to have on Dutch (large) banks and the effects that corporates may experience as a result.

GOAL

Orchard Finance has mapped the changes from BASEL III to BASEL VI. You will gain insight into the impact that BASEL VI has on the banking landscape and what that might mean for your (home) bank. With the acquired knowledge, you are then able to assess the impact BASEL IV has for your company with regard to financing and financing solutions.

CONTENT

This training examines the relationship between BASEL IV,  the banking organisation, capital charges and the expected effects on financing. The most important banking developments are also discussed, including the development of interest rates and other laws and regulations that banks have to deal with, which may have a direct effect on financing or acquisition issues within the company.

PRICE: €250,00 excl. VAT
