CONCEPT
A “real-life” / “in-person” meeting for a group of maximum 40 enthusiastic
Young Treasurers with interactive workshops in small groups. Sessions will be
focused on the basics of Treasury and connecting with peers/networking plays
an important role.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Junior treasury professionals (DACT member or introduced by DACT member)
with 0-5 years of working experience at a corporate treasury in the Netherlands.

In this interactive workshop we will explain and apply the Risk Based Finance methodology on an urgent risk: Climate Change. We will discuss the impact of climate change risks, prioritizing mitigation and tailoring finance solutions.

Payment Processing, SWIFT and the impact of sanctions
The break-out session will provide insight into the world of payments from a corporate perspective: how does a transfer of money happen, what is the structure and role of the SWIFT network, what messages can be sent via this network and what is the interaction between SWIFT and local payment systems. Also, in the light of recent developments, this break-out session will elaborate on the impact of sanctions on payment processing.
