We say hello to new talent again! This month Tjeu started as an Analyst. We warmly welcome Tjeu and hereby we introduce him to you.
Who are you and what is your background?
I am Tjeu Mutsers, 28 years old and I live in Nijmegen with my girlfriend Pleun. I am originally from Asten, in the North of Brabant, but after high school I left to study Business Administration at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Next step: completing the bachelor's degree in Business Administration, followed by the master's in Strategic Management, I decided to also pursue a master's degree in Corporate Finance. After the studies I spent almost a year at Pon Automotive in Leusden via a secondment company.
How did you experience your first week at Orchard Finance?
Excellent! I immediately got to know a significant number of colleagues and I was also directly involved in a number of projects.
What qualities do you find important in your colleagues?
That they are easy to approach and open to sharing their knowledge. Fortunately, in my first weeks I was able to experience immediately that this is the case with my new colleagues!
What is the most interesting thing about you that is not on your CV?
In the past I drummed for about 10 years in a band with two childhood friends. Together we played in many bars and at pop venues/festivals in the Netherlands. There are probably still a lot of pictures and music recordings from that time circulating on the internet. Despite the fact that my own musical career is at a very low level these days, my passion for music has always remained.
What's the best vacation you've ever had?
Picking one favorite is challenging. My holiday in Slovenia last summer was definitely a highlight, what a fantastically beautiful country! However, I also have many beautiful memories of the road trips with my group of friends from Asten/Eindhoven across Europe.
